PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the head position without using a servo signal being a positioning information. SOLUTION: Reproduced signal amplitude 122 of a data part is observed, when the reproduced signal amplitude of the data part is reducing, a reproducing head 101 is shifted forcibly by minute width in the direction of increasing reproduced signal amplitude.
