<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL drive circuit capable of reducing electric power consumption of an organic EL display device and an organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL drive circuit is equipped with a current source which is disposed in correspondence to display colors R, G and B for current driving of organic EL elements through terminal pins, a first power source line of a prescribed voltage which supplies electric power to the current source in correspondence to the organic EL elements of the display colors of the lower light emission efficiency among R, G and B, a second power source line lower than the prescribed voltage which supplies the electric power to the current source in correspondence to the organic EL elements of any of the remaining display colors among the R, G and B, and a switching regulator which stabilizes the voltage of the second power source line to the constant voltage lower than the prescribed voltage by receiving the electric power from the first power source line and supplying the electric power to the second power source line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
