PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency evacuation room, for securing safety of the body from an intruder from the outside, without reducing a dwelling space in a house. SOLUTION: This emergency evacuation room uses a bathroom 1, and is provided with a door 4 having a window 2 and locking cylinders 3a and 3b inside, and a remote controller 6 having various switches and a monitor 5. The remote controller 6 has the monitor 5, an emergency switch 7, an externally informing switch 8, an operation switch 9 for operating various functions, an input changeover switch 10, and a camera changeover switch 11 for switching a plurality of monitoring cameras 13. When a resident evacuates in the bathroom 1, the resident pushes the emergency switch 7 arranged in the remote controller 7, by closing the door 4. Thus, the cylinders 3a and 3b operate, and lock the door 4, so that the door 4 cannot be opened from the outside.
