PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate many ultrasonic sensors successively without setting ID numbers or the like, even when including many ultrasonic sensors. SOLUTION: Daisy chain connections of a plurality of ultrasonic sensors 1 are carried out by signal wires 22. A pulse signal for driving the plurality of ultrasonic sensors 1 is outputted from ECU 2 through the signal wires 22. The ultrasonic sensor 1(4) receives the pulse signal P and starts operation, and transmits an acquired analog measuring signal SA to the ECU 2 through an analog signal wire 21. Then, the ultrasonic sensor 1(4) finishes measuring operation and outputs the pulse signal P to a downstream ultrasonic sensor 1(3). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
