PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device for a stoker-type garbage incinerator capable of stably keeping the proper combustion of garbage by estimating the local garbage combustion state on a variable stoker. SOLUTION: A plurality of stoker temperature sensors 15 measuring a stoker temperature are dispersively mounted along the garbage conveying direction inside or near a member of the stoker, a plurality of gas temperature sensors 14 measuring a furnace gas temperature are dispersively mounted along the garbage conveying direction in a primary combustion chamber 21 on a surface upper part of a garbage layer 9 moving on the stokers, and at least one of a speed of the stokers and the supply of primary combustion air is controlled by each compartment 8 with respect to a part or the whole of the plurality of compartments 8.
