PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake/exhaust detecting method for a combustion device capable of accurately detecting clogging condition of an intake/exhaust passage on the basis of the revolution speed of a fan motor, and to provide a combustion control method and a combustion control device, in regard to a combustion device. SOLUTION: In this intake/exhaust detecting method for a combustion device, which burns fuel by supplying air 13 for combustion with fuel to burners 8A and 8B, the number of revolution of the fan motor 16 for supplying air for combustion in relation to a speed instruction value thereof is detected, and the detected number of revolution is compared with the number of revolution of the fan motor in relation to an initial speed instruction value, and when a result of the comparison is changed by the predetermined value or more in relation to the initial value, an alarm is given to inform unusual condition of the intake/exhaust passage.
