METHOD FOR FILE SYSTEM BACKUP USING INODE LIST, COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for file system backup using an inode list, a computer-readable recording medium, and a data processing system are provided to offer a backup method/system available to a distributed or parallel processing system using a structure to divide a backup process into multiple independent devices. CONSTITUTION: A list of the inodes changed by order of an inode number(112) is made and includes the inode number. A table having a name(111) and the inode number for all files currently existing in a file system is made. The lists are classified by the inode number. The inode and the file name related in a single object are provided by unifying the list and the table based on the inode number. The file backup is performed based on the unified list/table.
