STRUCTURE FOR VARYING FREE-MOVING CLEARANCE OF LIQUID-FILLED MOUNT BY MOVABLE PLATE, BIMETAL PLATE, AND HEATER

PURPOSE: A structure for varying a free-moving clearance of a liquid-filled mount is provided to control actively the dynamic characteristic of the mount in an optimal state corresponding to a present behavior of a vehicle by regulating the intensity and time of electricity supplied to a heater by a controller. CONSTITUTION: A movable plate installation structure of a liquid-filled mount is composed of a movable plate(7) installed to block up a hole(5) formed on a partition(3) for dividing a liquid chamber(1); a bimetal plate(9) for limiting a free-moving clearance that the movable plate moves vertically to the partition; and a heater(11) for heating the bimetal plate. The bimetal plate is heated to deform in the direction of widening the gap between the movable plate and the bimetal plate. The heater comprises an electric hot wire laid in the partition near the bimetal plate to receive electricity and generate the heat.
