<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning filter which is a wall flow type diesel particulate filter (DPF) of a honeycombed structure and with which not only comparatively larger particles in particulate matter (PM) but also minute particles can be captured and PM can be oxidized/removed by using heat energy efficiently and keeping a catalyst at the catalyst activating temperature or higher, and to provide an exhaust gas cleaning apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaning filter 10 consisting of a wall flow type porous ceramics-made honeycombed structure is constituted so that the honeycombed structure is divided into an inflow side cell 12A and an outflow side cell 12B by a porous wall 11 through which exhaust gas G is made to pass and on which an oxidation catalyst 15 is deposited and a granular body 16 for generating heat by a microwave is packed at least in the cell 12B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
