PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operationality for input operation by touch panel operation.
SOLUTION: A touch panel 47 comprises a display/sensor part 51a which is slightly larger than the display surface of an LCD 46, and a sensor 51b protruding externally from one side of the display surface, for example, the one on the right-hand side of an observer. A finger 52 of a user touches optional items such as a required button, an icon, and the like, on the display/sensor 51a and is guided to move up and down on the sensor 51b. Display 53 to be selected comprising a plurality of buttons is displayed by the LCD 46 along the right-hand side of the display surface. The button by the finger 52 is highlighted and the highlighted button is selected when the finger is left. When there is no button adjacent to the finger 52, no button is highlighted, and a state remains unchanged even when the finger 52 is left. When the finger 52 is slid to the display/sensor 51a, the display to be selected 53 disappears.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
|
