<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head whose optical system is easily designed at low costs, and to provide an optical recording/reproducing device using the optical head. <P>SOLUTION: An objective lens 16 and a polarization hologram composite element HOE1 for DVDs are mounted on a movable section (lens holder) H of an actuator C and are driven in one piece so that they follow a recording track in an optical recording medium M, thus reducing the weight of the actuator C as a whole and hence enabling speedy recording and reproduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
