<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation technique requiring no work of planting on a field after raising seedling, lightening a cultivation tank, excellently growing roots in the cultivation tank, facilitating sprinkling management after raising seedling and applicable even to cultivation of root vegetables. <P>SOLUTION: The method for cultivating plants comprises laying a water absorbing material 3 on the inner bottom of a cultivation bag 2 obtained by forming a root permeable sheet into a bag-like shape, raising seedlings of a plant 6 in the cultivation tank 1 made by filling culture soil 4 in the inside of the cultivation bag 2, putting the cultivation tank 1 on the ground of a field at a stage when the plant 6 grows to be a desired size and extending the roots of the plant 6 into the inside of the ground. As a result of this, it is possible to be free from work of planting on the field and intend for labor saving in farm work. Furthermore, it is possible to decrease the quantity of the culture soil 4 and lighten the cultivation tank 1 because of large water retention capacity of the cultivation tank 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
