PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering structure of apparatus for customer service improved in strength, having a superior aesthetic appearance, manufactured at low cost and shortening working time and to provide its covering method. SOLUTION: A table 6 is an armrest built-in table which is taken out from a storage part of a stool when used and stored in the storage part when not used. A base material 8 is a core material of the table 6 and hole filling members 9a-9d are members fitted in hole parts 8a-8d and filling them. A synthetic resin layer 10 is a primer layer for improving the sealing performance between the base material 8 and a synthetic resin layer 11 and the synthetic resin layer 11 is a covering layer for retaining the strength of the table 6. The synthetic resin layer 11 covers the approximately whole surface of the synthetic resin layer 10, retains the strength of the table 6 by closely contacting with the base material 8 via the synthetic resin layer 10 and, when an impact force or the like is applied to the synthetic resin layer 11 from the outside, the synthetic resin layer 11 can mitigate the impact force to prevent the lack of the table 6.
