PURPOSE: A carriage is provided, which travels efficiently by preventing the sliding on a traveling rail. CONSTITUTION: The carriage moves along a traveling rail. A body(3) is arranged in a down-part of the traveling rail. A driving wheel(4) is arranged to roll over an upper plane of the traveling rail. Assistant wheels(5a,5b) are arranged to roll over a bottom plane of the traveling rail. The assistant wheels are supported to be able to change a distance between an axis of the assistant wheel and an axis of the driving wheel, and also comprises a pressure-applying unit applying pressure to adhere to the bottom plane of the traveling rail.
