A joint construction for a partition for a clean room and the like comprises a section construction, fixed to the floor of the room, on which the partition bears. The section construction comprises two sections with a floor section fixed to the floor and a wall section fixed to the partition, as well as support means for adjustably supporting the wall section with respect to the floor section.
