RECYCLING METHOD OF WASTE TONER POWDER USING SURFACE-MODIFYING AND DISPERSING AGENT

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for recycling a waste toner powder to use it as a paint, a cement mortar hydraulic composition or a material for screening an electromagnetic wave. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of uniformly dispersing the waste toner powder in a solvent; and mixing 0.1-5 wt% of a surface modifying and dispersing agent to the total content of the waste toner to form a uniform coating. Preferably the method comprises the step of adding cement and aggregate to the waste toner powder and a surface modifying and dispersing agent, to make the content of the waste toner powder be 1-10 wt% based on 100 wt% of a cement mortar hydraulic composition comprising cement and aggregate, for using it as a source material for a cement mortar hydraulic composition. Preferably the waste toner power comprises 25-50 wt% of carbon black and iron oxide with an average diameter of 20 micrometers or less and 40-70 wt% of a synthetic resin, and the content of the composite particle with a size of 5-90 micrometers where the synthetic resin is combined with carbon black and iron oxide is 60 wt% or more.
