<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information which is rich in storage amount and high in quality by an information providing system that provides information for a user through a network. <P>SOLUTION: In the information providing system such that server computers 2 and 3 have a service information database function of accumulating information provided from a user terminal 1 and an information providing function of providing information at a request from a user terminal 1, the server computers have a user database creation function for creating a user database and a use right adding function of giving the user terminal 1 which has provided the information the right to use the information providing service of the system and registering information regarding the use right in the user database together with user information; and the information providing function operates to examine whether the user terminal 1 has the right to use the information providing service by refering to the user database when the user terminal 1 makes a request to use the information providing service and also provides information for the user terminal 1 having the use right. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
