<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game program wherein a vitality parameter is restored with minimum unnatural feeling even in the case of restoring damage. <P>SOLUTION: The program has: an update procedure for subtracting and updating a vitality parameter according to a received damage quantity in the case of receiving the damage; a parameter value setting procedure for storing and setting the value of the subtract-updated vitality parameter in a memory as a reference parameter value P1; a restoring procedure for performing processing of increase-updating the value of the vitality parameter by a value corresponding to the value of the restoring parameter of a restoring item when the using instruction of the restoring item is inputted from a player; and a subtraction processing procedure for subtract-updating the value of the vitality parameter in an increased and updated memory with time at a prescribed reducing velocity PRV.
