摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of excess and shortage of reducing agent supplied when regenerating NOx due to error included in inferred NOx trap amount.

SOLUTION: Error ERR in NOx trap amount is inferred at ordinary time other than the time of NOx regeneration. When regenerating NOx, rich spike time tspike is extended by a portion corresponding to the inferred error ERR (S103: by setting a rich spike time compensation value Δt). The error ERR is inferred by inferring instantaneous error Enox of NOx trap amount corresponding to an operation condition and adding it.
