<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a drive motor of a pair of reverse rotation rollers by reducing transfer resistance at the time of feeding a sheet from a reverse rotation transfer path by a pair of the reverse rotation rollers. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus with a sheet reverse rotation means for reversing a surface and a rear face of the sheet has a pair of reverse rotation rollers for switch backing the sheet, and a reverse rotation transfer path for transferring the sheet fed by the pair of the reverse rotation rollers. The reverse rotation transfer path has a direction changing portion for changing the transfer direction of the sheet, and a plurality of rotatable rollers are located inside the direction changing portion seen from the sheet transfer direction.
