<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid paper container, which has a particular appearance to differentiate the container easily from other articles, improves the effective use of a display space and distribution characteristics during a transportation, is easy to hold with a hand with an accompanying good touch, and facilitates drinking of a beverage. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid paper container is made by assembling a blank having a paper base material, and comprises a rectangular bottom 3 and an almost octagonal top 11. The container also includes a front face wall 6 having a vertical surface 6a and slopes 6b, 6c formed consecutively on both sides of the vertical surface 6a, and a rear face wall opposite to the front face wall 6 and having the structure identical with it. The container further includes side face walls 8 opposite to each other and having an identical structure, and each side wall 8 has an upper half portion on which a vertical surface part 8a is formed and a lower half portion on which a slope 8b sloping toward the bottom 3 is formed. The top 11 comprises a front half portion having a sloping down rectangular slope 11a and sloping up triangular slopes 11b, 11c formed consecutively on both sides of the rectangular slope 11a, and a rear half portion having the same structure as the front half portion.
