MICRO MOLDED COIL DEVICE FOR ACTUATOR, OPTICAL PICKUP ACTUATOR, OPTICAL PICK-UP DEVICE, AND OPTICAL DISK DRIVE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an micro molded coil device for an actuator, and an optical pickup actuator, an optical pickup device, and an optical disk drive that use the coil device.

SOLUTION: The micro molded coil device for the actuator is so designed as to induce an electromagnetic force by interaction between it and the magnetic field of a magnet. The molded coil device is so configured that at least one coil with a large number of windings is embedded in a body made of an insulating and non-magnetic material. Yokes of a wide variety of shapes can be further provided in the body for forming a straight magnetic path.
