<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sphingolipid with high physiological activity in high yield from a specific hydrosphere organism, particularly a method for recycling molluscous part of a pearl oyster or the like which is conventionally discarded. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing sphingolipid comprises collection of sphingolipid fraction by subjecting one or more kind of molluscous part of hydrosphere organisms belonging anyone of gastropods, pelecypods or cephalopods to extraction by an organic solvent, a treatment with chromatography and fractionation by an organic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
