<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of treated water quality due to flow out of scum by effectively preventing the occurrence of scum in a precipitator located in a rear stage of an aerobic biological treatment part, without requiring an excessive cooling facility nor cooling energy. <P>SOLUTION: This precipitator 2 installed at the rear stage of the aerobic biological treatment part 1 is provided with a facility 3 cooling sludge in the precipitator or settled in the precipitator. Since the sludge in the precipitator or settled in the precipitator is directly cooled, the cooling efficiency is high, and the occurrence of scum in the precipitator can be effectively prevented without requiring the excessive cooling facility nor a large amount of energy for cooling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
