<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business card information management server and a business card information management system that enable digitization and immediate sharing (publication) of a business card without special skill. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving means receives image data on a business card picked up and sent as a file attached to an email by a portable radio terminal. A converting means recognizes character information in the received image data, and converts it into text data. A classifying means then classifies the converted text data by entries forming the business card, and a storing means stores the text data.
