<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a touch panel with a wide active area which causes no conductive failure. <P>SOLUTION: In this touch panel, an upper substrate 41 having a pair of conductive electrodes 44 and 45 connected to two opposed edges of an upper transparent electrode 13 formed on the lower surface of an upper transparent substrate 12 and drawn to the circumferential area of an upper transparent substrate 12, and a first surrounding wall 48 formed in a circumferential part not having the conductive electrodes 44 and 45 of the circumferential area of the upper transparent substrate 42 is stuck to a lower substrate 31 having a pair of conductive electrodes 34 and 35 connected to two opposed edges of a lower transparent electrode 3 formed on the upper surface of a lower transparent substrate 2 and drawn in the circumferential area of the lower transparent substrate 2, and a second surrounding wall 38 formed in a circumferential part not having the conductive electrodes 34 and 35 of the circumferential area of the lower transparent substrate 2 through an adhesive 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
