<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insure that setting of musical performance set data for performing an accompaniment that meets the musical piece desired to be played is easily carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The related information which is related to at least one of accompaniment style data and defines the combination of a plurality of the musical performance set data includes the information for specifying at least the accompaniment style data and one to a plurality of kinds of section data included in the accompaniment style data. At the time of reading out and setting the plurality of the musical performance set data based on the related information, at least the corresponding kinds of section data is read out and set based on the specified information.
