PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicular speed from being increased abruptly, even when constant-speed travel control is released under the condition where a plurality of gear shifts in a high-speed side is prohibited during descending slope travel, for example, by a constant-speed travel canceling switch. SOLUTION: This constant-speed travel controller for prohibiting a change gear ratio of an automatic transmission from being brought into the high-speed side higher than a prescribed gear change ratio during the descending slope travel is provided with a constant-speed travel control release determination part 12 for determining the presence of releasing the constant-speed travel control, and a prohibition determining part 14 for releasing the prohibition gradually from a low-speed side out of prohibited gear change ratios, when releasing the constant-speed travel control.
