PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that an exclusive memory, a DIP SW or the like is required to be installed in a USB function device and the management of USB identification numbers is required so that the same number is not overlapped in a system for storing and writing USB identification numbers when a plurality of identical apparatuses are connected to a USB. SOLUTION: Since the device number and writing time of a program writer are used as a USB serial number, vendor ID and product ID can be clearly discriminated even when a plurality of identical devices are connected.
