PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically reflect numerical data stored in a multidimensional database in a database in a host computer. SOLUTION: About numerical data stored in a multidimensional database, a PC put in the same network environment as the database starts prepared stationary processing for data extraction to extract data, processes them to a fixed length file, and transfers it to a host system to update a database on the host system therewith.
