PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive optical image recording material having superior shrinkage resistance and a contrast, a recording method therefor, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The optical image recording material contains an epoxy compound that has at least one oxirane ring having a substituent at least at either of theαposition or theβposition of the oxirane ring, an epoxy compound chosen from an epoxidized fatty acid ester and an epoxidized fatty acid glyceride, and an optical cationic polymerization initiator.
