PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction mechanism for a photosensitive plate member for reliably sucking the photosensitive plate member to a stage in a simple configuration even for various sizes of members, and to provide an image recording apparatus equipped with the suction mechanism for the photosensitive plate member. SOLUTION: A flexible film 178 which transmits laser light is wound around a winding roll 176 disposed at the side of a stage 152, and the flexible film 178 is unwound by the rotational driving force of a motor 182 to cover the all suction holes 172 of the stage 152.
