PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotational position detector capable of detecting a rotational position of a magnetic body under rotational motion. SOLUTION: This rotational position detector A for detecting the rotational position of the magnetic body 100 under the rotational motion has magnetic detecting elements 210, 220 arranged in positions opposed to a face on an orbital circle of the magnetic body 100, different each other on a concentric circle around a rotational axial line of the magnetic substance 100 as the center, and not brought into axial symmetry using the center position of the rotational axial line as the center, so as to detect analogically a level of a magnetic field generated by the magnetic body 100, and an output part 300 for outputting respective outputs from the magnetic detecting elements 210, 220 as rotational position detected results of the magnetic body 100.
