PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor capable of improving compressor performance in a small flow rate region without sacrificing compressor performance in a large flow rate region. SOLUTION: The centrifugal compressor is equipped with a casing 11 having a spirally formed scroll flow passage 17. The scroll flow passage 17 is formed such that flow passage width in an axial direction gradually expands from an inner side in a diametrical direction to an outer side and is maximized on the diametrical directional outside of an intermediate point of the flow passage width in the diametrical direction.
