PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter controller capable of facilitating engine start operation and starting an engine securely. SOLUTION: In this starter controller for driving a self-starter motor 4 for a prime mover when starting the prime mover, the self-starter motor is driven for at least one second or more when a starter switch 3 of the self-starter motor 4 is turned on and off at an interval of one second or less.
