PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type wiping sheet effectively wiping water spilt on a floor face or the like and prevented from lowering the wiping capacity of dust, hair, and the like even after the wiping. SOLUTION: This wiping sheet 1 used in a dry state comprises an intermediate layer 2, and an upper layer 3 and a lower layer 4 which are stacked on both surfaces of the intermediate layer 2, respectively. The intermediate layer 2 is preferably a layer of 100% of pulp fibers, and the upper layer 3 and the lower layer 4 include at least 30 wt% or more of hydrophobic fibers and 10 wt% or more of hydrophilic fibers. When a filter is stacked on the wiping sheet 1 after having absorbed the water and a weight of 0.8 g/cm<SP>2</SP>is loaded thereon, the moisture transfer amount is 20% or less of the total moisture absorption.
