According to the invention: additional elements are provided for generating a secure access link to the Internet; the vehicle comprises a special rewriteable memory for storing data that is transmitted via said secure Internet access link; and the direct connection of the special memory to at least one data-dependent component and/or at least one control unit in the vehicle permits the data-dependent components or control units to be operated by means of the transmitted data.
