摘要 PURPOSE: A packet processing device and a method thereof are provided to supply multiple queue models for distinguishing a real-time service packet from a data packet, and to dynamically control a fragmentation threshold value of the data packet, thereby supplying a seamless real-time service. CONSTITUTION: A receiving queue(220) comprises the first receiving queue(224) for processing a real-time service packet(video/voice packets) and the second receiving queue(222) for processing a data packet, processes packets received from at least more than one service terminal(2e), and transmits the processed packets to an IP network. A transmission queue(210) consists of the first transmission queue(214) for processing the real-time service packet and the second transmission queue(212) for processing the data packet, processes packets received from the IP network, and transmits the processed packets to at least the one service terminal(2e). A packet processor controls the transmission of the real-time service packet and the data packet.
