PURPOSE: A system for an electronic billing/settlement service of various public charges is provided to remove user's inconvenience for paying the public charge and enable a provider to reduce time/expense for receiving the public charges by processing settlement on a corresponding settlement day based on information registered from the user in response to settlement approval of the user. CONSTITUTION: A user system(100) is equipped with an application program for advancing processes for registering user information and an electronic public charge billing application, receiving settlement particulars information from a public charge settlement system(200), and performing the settlement approval for the received settlement particulars information. The public charge settlement system includes a web server(210), an application program server(220), and a database(230). The operation management server manages/operates connection of the user. The application program server includes a process for providing the user with a public charge informing/settling server by receiving settlement information from a provider system(300).
