摘要

PURPOSE: A system used for developing a home network and its operation method are provided to promote development of a home server and a client home appliance by using an emulator which generates virtual response data anticipated in a to-be-developed network home appliance and responds to the home server connected through a power line. CONSTITUTION: A network module(201) connected with an emulator handles a function of data communication with a home server. An HNCP(Home Network Control Protocol) interface unit(210) interfaces with an HNCP to allow transmission/reception of data to/from a device connected with a network. A network layer unit(220) supports multicast or broadcast communication by managing an error or a flow of data transmitted/received through the HNCP interface unit(210). An application layer part(230) reads the data transferred through the network layer part(220) and issues a communication message allowing operation according to the data. A display unit(240) displays a result state of the operation of the application layer part(230) on a screen.
