PACKAGE FOR INKJET RECORDING PAPER AND METHOD FOR INKJET RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body for an inkjet recording paper in which changes in white ground and glossiness of the surface of an ink receiving layer of the outermost inkjet recording paper are reduced even when it is stored for a long period.

SOLUTION: The package comprises a plurality of sheets of inkjet recording paper and a protective sheet for protecting the surface of the ink receiving layer of the outermost recording paper packaged with a packaging material. The protective sheet has a paper base material at least one face of which is water-resistant-treated. The water-resistant-treated face is arranged so as to be brought into contact with the surface of the ink receiving layer, and the water-resistant-treated face has a central line mean roughness (Ra) of 0.2-3 μm measured under a condition prescribed by JIS-B-0601 with a standard length of 2.5 mm and a cut-off value of 0.8 mm.
