摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely acquire the information of selectable choices in a printer for executing direct printing by a digital camera with a small buffer capacity.

SOLUTION: A control command generating means (communication controller 22) of a digital camera 2 generates a control command for requesting to send information showing selectable choices about one of a plurality of function setting items provided in a printer 1. A communication means (control circuit 21 and the communication controller 22) of the digital camera 2 communicates with the printer 1, sends its control command, and receives information showing selectable choices in response to the control command. A control means (central processing unit 23) in the digital camera controls the control command generating means and the communication means to acquire information showing the selectable choices respectively about the plurality of function setting items.
