<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card system that not only needs not to be moved to where a terminal is present when value is charged and eliminates the need to buy a dedicated device, but also is usable without awareness of charging, to inhibit the card itself from being used as a relieving measure when lost, and to enable off-line use in a network nonconnection state. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a nonvolatile memory stored with value to be charged, an external interface which sends and receives the value through electromagnetic induction or a contact or electromagnetic induction, a control part for storing the value to be charged in the nonvolatile memory, and a wireless communication function different from that of the external interface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
