VISITOR MANAGEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visitor management method and system capable of efficiently doing an ingress or egress procedure without taking time and labor even if a number of visitors arrive at a reception, while also capable of accurately collecting the visitors' behavior information.

SOLUTION: The visitor management system comprises an admission card with a data carrier in which characteristic identification information issued to each visitor entering a destination is stored; terminals each having a data carrier reader/writer and installed at the reception of the destination and a meeting place; a terminal for inputting each visitor's individual information, interviewer information, meeting place information and the like; and a computer having a database and communicably connected to the data carrier reader/writer and the terminal. The computer has a means by which the visitor information received from the terminal and the identification information received from the data carrier reader/writer are registered in relation to the database.
