PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming device capable of preventing the occurrence of a jam in a sheet material after the end of fixing. SOLUTION: The fixing device is equipped with a fixing roller 12 which is rotationally driven, a pressure roller 13 which comes in press-contact with the fixing roller 12, a paper delivery roller pair 22 which delivers the sheet material S after the end of fixing, and a transport guide 23. A nip 14 is formed between the fixing roller 12 and the pressure roller 13 and the transport guide 23 guides the sheet material S past the nip 14 toward the paper delivery roller pair 22. The angle formed by a straight line connecting the nip 14 formed between the fixing roller 12 and the pressure roller 13 and a nip 26 of the paper delivery roller pair 22 and the transport surface of the transport guide 23 is so set as to fall within a range from 15 to 30°.
