PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a high strength cap which has excellent pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, low earing, shielding properties, explosion proofness and deep drawability, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet for a cap having a composition comprising, by weight, 0.01 to 0.6% Si, 0.1 to 0.7% Fe, 0.01 to 0.15% Cu, 0.1 to 1.0% Mn and 0.1 to 1.0% Mg, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and having a tensile strength of 170 to 214 MPa, an elongation of≥4% and an earing ratio of≤3% is used. In the production method, hot rolling and cold rolling are performed. Preferably, the final cold rolling ratio is controlled to >30 to 70%, and, after the final cold rolling, final refining annealing is performed at 180 to 250°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
