PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel generator that generates electric power inside a wheel. SOLUTION: This generator is made up of protruding portions 1; struts 2 for permanent magnets and both magnetic poles 3; and a structure that a rotating body 10 of the permanent magnets, a bearing 11, and both magnetic poles 13 are provided in the hollow portion 7 inside the wheel 5. Electricity is generated as the wheel 5 rotates by processes that the protruding portions 1 are pushed up in the direction of the rotating shaft of the wheel when contacting a rail 8 or the ground, and the struts 2 actuated by the movement of the protruding portions 1 change the magnetic field between both magnetic poles 3.
