PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for efficiently performing warning and controlling based on a car speed by utilizing short-distance dedicated communications to check the state of a traveling vehicle. SOLUTION: The speeding control system is composed of: a plurality of road side apparatuses each for transmitting speed information of a vehicle to a traffic information center and receiving the processing result of the speed information for outputting; an onboard apparatus which is loaded inside of the vehicle for sending the speed information of the vehicle to the road side apparatuses and receiving the processing result from each of the road side apparatuses; an electronic control unit to which the speed of the vehicle is inputted from a speed sensor, and which outputs the speed of the vehicle to the onboard apparatus and performing control to reproduce the processing result inputted from the onboard apparatus via a voice output means; and the traffic information center which analyzes the speed information of the vehicle received from each of the road side apparatuses and outputs the processing result based on the analyzed result to the road side apparatuses.
