PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize a load rate of each node and to reduce the traffic between nodes to improve processing efficiency in an adaptive distributed processing system wherein each of service processing element programs distributed on a number of nodes connected to a network parallel operates, exchange information with each other and links to execute a predetermined service function. SOLUTION: In the adaptive distributed processing system, service processing element programs P1, P2, ... are distributively disposed in nodes A, B, C, ... on a network N and each of the nodes A, B, C, ... comprises a means 1-1 for collecting a processing load of the present node to detect that the processing load exceeds an upper limit value, a means 1-2 for receiving information of the other node from a management node, a means 1-3 for notifying the other node of the processing load information within the present node, a means 1-4 for receiving the processing load information and referring to the upper limit value and a current value of the processing load of the present node to answer whether or not processing can be accepted, and a means 1-5 for moving and running the service processing element program to the other node.
