PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic paving material, and a rubber chip used therefor, for providing stable nonslip performance over a long period. SOLUTION: This elastic paving material is formed by binding the rubber chip bound 1 by a binder 2 to form voids 4 inside. A fine hard aggregate 3 is dispersively included in the rubber chip 1.
